日曜日, 3月 05, 2006 Hey! i'm back from Puerto Galera with the DLSU-Debate Society!!! I really love those guys. from Nico's house, we moved on to Puerto in two of the rich guy's vehicles (1 Ford Ranger and 1 hi-ace) at 4 am. As soon as we got there, we unpacked and headed out to go beach hopping. As I hoped, everyone did have fun and no one wanted to leave yet, just a while ago. here's the dialogue for that: Vic: We have three options in going home. 1, at 12, 2, at 1 and three, tomorrow. everyone: tomorrow! some people: I want to skip my classes tomorrow. (etc.) Geez! I can't believe I tol Reg about....what has gotten into me?! Anyway, that's out of topic. Forgive the digression. Well, it was fun seeing Nico eat by hand for the first time (and it is his first time) and by communal meal at that. It was funn the way that some of Nico's food won't shoot through his mouth 'coz he doesn't know how, and that Dino eats what falls on his food! Wahaha!!! The thing is, Nico enjoyed it! Cheska really decimated all of the watermelons...Kenneth - well, let's just say he's mala-elepante...or should I say had elephant hands for food. I was eating with a lot of rice served up in front of me and then...Parads' hand suddenly grabs a handful (literally) of rice and my rice was reduced by 1/2. After that, he suddenly grabbed a big piece of chicken and ate it silently off the side. It was such a hoot! The picnic thing. And oh yeah, it was also Kin's first time to eat by hand, but I didn't get to see him because he was at the other table...which comprised of people who didn't eat much to the extent that after we devoured out food and aked for 4ths, we still went over to their table to hijack food!It was much more fun eating at our table especially that everyone had a big apetite and that everyone was trying to out-eat everyone. Public speaking rounds were also held yesterday and everyone said I did a good job...but, as usual, it's public speaking and I was scared as hell! I mean, Cheska even noticed that I was pale already, as if I was going to faint. Good thing I pulled it off, though. I also LOVED what happened int he training boot camp last night! I mean, it was so awe-inspiring and it restored some of the fire that i lost in debate. i believe that's how it should be. This is, after all, not a hobby. It's a game of honor and discipline and wit and hard work. that is why Ateneo has always been winning. Which is what I admire about them. It also made me see how much I need to improve in debate. Geez! Ice had improved so much and I really admire how he could immediately grasp concepts, mistakes and other important points in the debate. ^^x Kishi Seta まだ休みない。 Written in blood 日曜日, 3月 05, 2006
