木曜日, 3月 30, 2006 I don't want to talk about what happened in my life today (except that I was surprised that our own groupmates were against our stand in Contemporary National Development [Dr. Tullao's class], that my sensei gave me an hour to finish a Kanji quiz and a finals exam with her and Brillo sensei talking behind me the whole time [geez! i do understand them...somewhat], and that I realized the mistake in my rebuttals [linking back as usual but now not in constructive]) I want to talk about something serious (hey this is a personal blog, after all!). i want to talk about the future. Many professors and scholars would call me crazy if I told them that the upcoming power in the world would be EU (as what happened in class earlier). Most, if not all, would think that it would be China given their economic growth, rising military prowess and other factors. They would base their arguments on the tangibles and human perception. My professor even extended the argument to historical precedence where the world will be plunged into another war if the Europeans gain a foothold on hegemony. I say the last statement is not far from the truth. The world I believe to happen is that EU will gain power and make war with its neighbors. US, UK and Canada (maybe other English-speaking nations as well) will fall prey to the plagues of the third world (i.e. economic instability, loss of political clout, internal chaos, etc.) and that the rising power will make good use of this weakness to humiliate the fallen countries. The world then will plunge into an unprecedented war and devastation such that it would destroy most of mankind and the earth. Yes, many of you will ask, "Who is this girl who thinks of such a bleak future? What's her basis? What are evidences pointing to this?" and other qestions. I would only say one thing. It all comes from the bible. Yes, the prophecies from Isaiah down to the Revelations for our time. Why do I believe it so much? Because once you understand it, you will see how correct the prophecies are - written thousands of years ago! An example? It is said that the nation of Israel would be great. You might say that Israel is not even close to prosperity. Really? Do you know the modern decendants of Isaac? Of Jacob? The scattering of the 12 tribes, namely the American and British decended people? Unbelievable? Prove it to yourselves. Don't just listen to me. See whether or not they really are the decendants and whether they are really prosperous (or have been) and powerful/influential. Another example? I have already believed in prophecies before and when the Euro was introduced in the market, I badgered my father to change my currency to Euro since they would be a superpower, even in economic terms. He declined, saying my bases were illogical and that the Euro is not stable. That was what he said when it was pegged at PhP20 to EU1 (USD was $48 to a PhP back then). And now, I could have tripled my dollar savings if I only followed bible prophecy. (Oh and let us not forget the forming of EU itself and the upcoming rise of Vatican...ooh! wait for the latter). I suggest for those scholars out there who doubt me, check the bible (not the catholic one mind! Try King James, New King James or New International Versions).
